Assessments play a critical role in training, providing a benchmark for improvement. FuturePerfect’s programs are underpinned by accurate and valid assessments of trainees’ language levels before, during and after training.

FuturePerfect’s assessments go beyond other more generic and traditional language assessments that only test grammar and pronunciation. The sociolinguistic criteria are also tested, reinforcing the use of the Communicative Language Teaching approach in the training programs. The sociolinguistic criteria are very important when making assessments of candidates working in interactive work contexts.  These criteria are discourse capability, strategic competency, interactive capability, audience awareness, and sociolinguistic competency.
